Valerie is passionate about empowering small business owners to succeed by relieving them of the complexities of accounting and finance. She understands that running a small business requires wearing many hats— advertising, HR, technology, and finances—all while mastering their core skills. Valerie loves taking the burden of financial management off business owners’ plates so they can focus on growing their businesses.
With over 15 years of experience providing CFO services for medical and dental practices, Valerie has honed her expertise in streamlining operations and delivering actionable financial insights. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Brigham Young University-Idaho and began her career at a large, international public company, managing accounting for several divisions and overseeing $50 million in fixed assets. After relocating to Texas, she consulted for a nonprofit organization, further diversifying her skill set.
Upon returning to the Tri-Cities, Valerie transitioned to tax preparation before taking a leap into dental practice consulting. What began as a single opportunity quickly evolved into a thriving, full-time clientele, cementing her as a trusted financial advisor in the medical and dental fields. While Valerie finds great fulfillment in her professional work, her most cherished role is being a mother to her four children.
After work, she can be found shuttling her kids to their many activities, cheering them on, and creating memories together. In her rare moments of free time, she enjoys traveling, skiing, playing pickleball, and savoring the joy of family life. Valerie’s commitment to her clients, combined with her dedication to her family, exemplifies her belief in balancing professional excellence with personal fulfillment.
