Lori enjoys working with high-performing professionals, including engineers, nurses, physicians, realtors, teachers, and business owners. Lori has created a niche in estate planning as well as developing retirement and investment strategies, leading up to and during retirement for high net worth clients.
Lori holds a Series 66 securities registration in addition to being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and a Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC®) designation. She also holds Life, Long-Term Care, and Disability Insurance licenses. She earned her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Washington State University.
Prior to her work as a Wealth Management Advisor—where she has been serving clients for the past 11 years— Lori spent thirteen years in business and finance administrative positions at research universities. Her experience in higher education includes roles such as Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration at WSU Tri-Cities and Executive Director of Administration in the Business and Finance Office at Utah State University (USU). While at USU, she was a key member of the leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction of the Division of Business and Finance. At WSU Tri-Cities, Lori served as Chief Financial Officer and provided leadership on budget, long-range planning, capital planning, facilities operations, auxiliary services, business services, human resources, risk management, emergency response planning, and environmental health and safety.
Lori and her husband, David Painter, have three adult children and four grandchildren. They enjoy participatingin numerous outdoor activities with their family and friends. The beginning of a perfect day for Lori includes meeting her friends for an early morning swim or bike ride before work. She strives to be at the top of her game in both the financial industry and as a Competitive Masters Athlete.
